Mining

Pit mining information and high resolution imagery provides significant inputs to the mining industry, from the exploration, design, development and rehabilitation phase of small and large mining projects. The use of remotely-sensed data is an efficient and cost-effective alternative to field-survey, especially for very large exploration areas as well as a non-disruptive solution during operations.

  • Volume Estimation

Using precise topographic information derived from our large-format aerial digital mapping cameras acquired at multiple dates, we are able to extract precise volume information to help mining contractors to monitor their stockpile volume as well as landfill volumes during the mine rehabilitation phase.

  • Aerial Digital Mapping

Evmolpos has provided aerial survey services and high standard orthophotography to many mining operators and contractors for decades. Digital aerial orthophotography can provide invaluable inputs at any phase of your project but is particularly useful for the planning phase of many small and large mining development initiatives. It is also efficiently used for mineral exploration and environmental monitoring.

  • Topography Mapping

Large and small scale digital elevation models have been proven a crucial dataset for any topographic investigation work and engineering design. With our advanced photogrammetric capabilities, Evmolpos can provide up-to-date topographic information in a time-sensitive manner.

  • 3D Visualization

Effective internal and external communication can be greatly improved using visual information. Using 3D Visualisation, we can generate photorealistic 3D model of a mine site, quarry as a base for making attractive videos and interactive tools for public consultation and presentations.
